Mrs. Crystal Swindell

I grew up in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and moved to North Carolina in 2001 to begin my career in education. Since then, I have taught a variety of classes from fourth through twelfth grades. I came to ECHS as a graduation coach during the 2021-2022 school year and moved back into the classroom to teach science and study skills from 2022-2024. I completed my Master of School Administration degree at East Carolina University through the North Carolina Principal Fellow Program in May 2025. I serve as the assistant principal and data manager and enjoy the rigorous and supportive environment at ECHS. I am a passionate educational advocate and lifelong learner and believe in making connections with staff, students, and families to maximize the impact of educational success.
